How do we measure poverty? Is it by counting the numbers of towering buildings in a country, summing up the unemployed citizens or analyzing the kind of lifestyle people have? Maybe, we'll find it difficult to determine the extent of poverty, but one thing's for sure it exists all over the globe like a pandemic disease.
Homeless and beggars are just some who are suffering from poverty. Here is a video prank of Rob Anderson, who created a difference in his strange way to a homeless U.S. Army veteran of Las Vegas, Alan McKracken. He was known to be a homeless who wants to make people smile even without receiving money from them.
It started when he approached Alan, who was holding a sign that says "Homeless trying to get by/Anything helps/God bless." He asked him to give his sign. Rob Anderson took his marker out of his pocket and wrote dollar signs on it. Next he asked the man if those signs helped and the Alan replied "Not really". The next thing he did, left Alan, puzzled. He tears up the sign. Instead of getting angry, Alan calmly asked, "Can I keep the magic marker to make another sign?" Watch what happened next.
In his peculiar way, Rob puts a smile on Alan's face. In fact, he also included Alan in GoFundMe page. It has raised more than $20,000 and after this video got viral Alan got temporary assistance from Veterans Affair. He is now sleeping on a bed and is provided a complete meal every day. Thanks to the big hearted Rob!
