Story tells us that before they made this video Jon Ruby, the president and creative director of Mullen had an idea after his writer told him that “Being a mom is really the world’s toughest job” that made him think and made this project. They said they have a lot of ideas coming up but this thought made them decide to make a video for mothers.
After setting the plan they made a fake but alluring job offer and spread it online and the newspapers with some high standard requirements including PhDs and crisis management experts with ability to withstand numerous projects. Mullen expected a lot of applicants to come for the office called “The director of Operation” By Rethom Inc, (“MOTHER” if spelled backwards”) then arranged a fake but recorded interview called “The Toughest Job in the World”.
The interviewer clearly clarifies the nature of work, its duties, position and tasks included. The applicants respond almost unanimously with words like “insane” and “inhumane” but when the prank was revealed, most of them were in awe and stunned! The interview led them to think and to thank their mother! It’s amazing to know and to realize how important it is to realize and to appreciate the magnitude of a mother’s job. Now the video gone viral garnering millions of views. I hope and I pray that everyone sees this video and appreciate the work that mothers does!
